We finally signed up for our local CSA, Potomac Vegetable Farms! That's Community Supported Agriculture. http://www.potomacvegetablefarms.com/

For those of you unfamiliar with the concept, PVF grows a TON of food--local and organic. We pay an annual fee to secure a share in their harvest. So beginning in September we'll get a box of fresh fall produce delivered to our local pick up spot. All you have to do is visit Local Harvest to see how many CSA's are available around the country (except apparently in Jacksonville where there is only 1, with an epic waiting list, right E?) http://www.localharvest.org/csa/

We are so excited to be supporting local farmers, and eating certified organic good food! I'm going to be stock piling recipes for squash, potatoes, and other fall veggies. Can't wait for our first box!!
