I've just started working my way through this book called "Teachers Have it Easy: The Big Sacrifices & Small Salaries of America's Teachers." It was co-authored by Dave Eggers known largely for his breakthrough novel, "A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius," and more recently as screenwriter for "Away We Go" and the upcoming "Where the Wild Things Are." Many of us have been inspired by a teacher, some of us do or hope to have children who someday will be inspired by teachers, and some of us ARE teachers. Whichever category you fall into I think this book is worthy of your attention.
